Būtē Cosmetics’ Airbrush Masterclass training covers airbrush equipment (selection, use and maintenance), airbrush makeup artistry and beauty application techniques. This comprehensive course is designed to take learners with basic to intermediate makeup application experience through activities that will help them achieve flawless airbrush makeup application. The training package includes twenty (20) hours full contact comprehensive airbrush training.
1. Tools and Equipment
• Choosing the appropriate tools/equipment for the job
• How to use the equipment
• How to care for and clean equipment
• What types of makeup are appropriate for use in the equipment
• How to troubleshoot typical equipment faults
2. Color theory and complexion matching
• Understanding color theory and essentials of correctly matching complexion
• Identifying skin undertones
• Theory and techniques used to apply airbrush makeup
• Skin Issues and concerns
• color correction for all skin types
3. Airbrush Makeup Application
• Preparing the skin
• Applying foundation, highlight and contour
• Applying eye shadow and blush
• Applying eye liner, lipstick and strobing highlights
• Setting and finalizing the makeup for a “Flawless Finish”

With more than eight years of creative experience in the industry of makeup artistry, Kareen’s background in chemistry and her own need to find makeup that worked well for her sensitive skin led her to develop Būtē Cosmetics: a line of natural makeup that thinks its skincare.
Her extensive artistry skills and techniques include: Airbrushing, Bridal, Film/TV/HD, Editorial, Fashion, Theatrical, Special Effects & Body/Face Painting.
